About the Role: As a Proposal Specialist at CFA, you will play a critical role in our business development efforts. As a member of the proposal team, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing proposals to secure new projects and clients. Additionally, you will support our marketing team by creating engaging and effective marketing content. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

You will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing proposals to secure new projects and clients. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and edit proposals and other marketing materials
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and create compelling proposal content
  • Manage the proposal development process from start to finish, ensuring timely submission
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and approvals
  • Maintain a proposal database and track proposal statuses
  • Review and revise proposal documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials for client meetings
  • Monitor and report on proposal success rates and identify areas for improvement
  • Write and edit marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, website content, and social media posts
  • Develop content for marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote CFA’s services and achievements
  • Support other business development and marketing activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in proposal writing and coordination, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in marketing writing and content creation
  • Familiarity with proposal management software is a plus
